Turimetta Beach is a beach in Sydney's Northhern Beaches. It is 350 meters long and is backed by steep bluffs. Swimmingg can be hazardous because of trips thant usually form at the centre and both ends of the beach. The beach is not patrolled by lifeguards. Turrimtta is some often than not a swimmers' beach only. The surf uality is poor and surfers usually frequent Nort Narrabeen Beach to the south of Warriewood Beach to north.
The headland is popular rock fishing sport so many shark sightings, both confirmed and uncomfirmed, have occurred.
