Port Jackson, also called Sydney Harbour, is the natural harbour of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The harbour is an inlet of the Tasman Sea (Part of the South Pacific Ocean) It is the location of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. The location of teh first European settlement in Australia, Port Jackson has continued to play a key role in the history and development of Sydney.

Many recrecation events are based on or around the harbour itself particularly the Sydney New Year's Eve celebration and the starting point of the Sydney to Hobart yacht race.

The Waterways of ort Jackson are managed by the NSW ROAD and Maritime Service. Sydney Harbour National Park protects a number of island and foreshore areas, swimming spots, bushwlking track and picnic area.
